NSW contractor lead network — applications open
Apply to become a verified NSW contractor. Project-lead purchases cost $160 each once verified checkout and secure delivery are enabled; a homeowner's contact details will be shared with at most three verified contractors with consent.
Future contractor lead marketplace
NSW is developing a paid homeowner-project lead marketplace. The intended price is $160 per lead, per contractor. If a lead passes review and the marketplace launches, the same lead may be sold to no more than three contractors total. That means a maximum of three paid placements for one lead, not an exclusive lead.
Not live yet: contractor verification, lead approval, paid lead checkout, lead delivery, and the operational controls that enforce the three-contractor limit are still being tested. There are currently no leads available to buy. Do not send payment expecting a lead or treat any lead as verified until the marketplace is formally opened.
What we need before launch
- Confirm contractor identity and appropriate licensing/insurance where applicable.
- Review each homeowner request for completeness, recency, location, and consent.
- Enforce a maximum of three paid contractor deliveries per lead.
- Provide secure lead delivery, payment records, support, and a clear refund/invalid-lead policy.
Estimate carefully
- Measure the real job and document site conditions.
- Quantify materials and verify unit conversions.
- Confirm local supplier prices and realistic labor productivity.
- Document exclusions, allowances, permits, and contingencies.
- Prepare a written proposal and record approved changes.
NSW is a planning platform, not an engineer, code inspector, licensed contractor, or estimator of record. Always verify site-specific facts, local rules, and all customer-facing estimates.
