About NSW Projects
Making Project Estimating Simple, Affordable, and Accessible.
NSW Projects was created with one goal in mind: to make construction and home improvement planning easier for everyone.
Whether you're a homeowner planning a renovation, someone working on a DIY project, or a contractor preparing an estimate, understanding project costs shouldn't have to be complicated.
Our platform is designed to help you plan smarter, understand potential expenses, and make more informed decisions before starting your next project.
What We Do
NSW Projects provides a digital construction cost estimator designed to help customers understand the potential costs of home improvement and construction projects.
Our estimating tools focus on several important aspects of project planning:
-
Material Cost Estimates: Calculate estimated expenses for materials needed to complete a project.
-
Labor Cost Estimates: Understand potential labor expenses before hiring a contractor.
-
Tax Estimates: Account for estimated applicable taxes when planning your budget.
-
Nearby Material Suppliers: Explore local businesses where project materials may be available.
-
Local Contractors: Discover contractors in your area who may be able to help with your project.
-
Project Budgeting: Organize estimated expenses to better understand your overall project budget.
Our goal is to bring useful project planning resources together in one convenient place.
How NSW Projects Works
Getting started is simple.
Step 1 — Purchase Your Estimator
Customers can purchase the NSW Construction Cost Estimator through our secure Shopify storefront for a one-time price of $14.99.
Step 2 — Access Your Digital Product
After purchasing, customers receive the digital product and access instructions provided with their order.
Step 3 — Enter Your Project Information
Use the estimator to enter relevant project details, such as measurements, materials, and other information needed for your estimate.
Step 4 — Review Your Estimated Costs
Review the estimated expenses associated with your project to help plan your budget and prepare for the next steps.
NSW Projects is intended to provide planning estimates rather than guaranteed final construction prices. Actual costs may vary depending on location, materials, labor rates, and project requirements.
Meet the Founder
Nathanael Walker — Founder of NSW Projects
My name is Nathanael Walker, and I'm a high school student who started NSW Projects independently.
I've always been interested in entrepreneurship, technology, and finding ways to turn ideas into something useful.
I started NSW Projects because I wanted to create a business of my own while developing a product that could help people with real-world projects.
Building this company as a student hasn't always been easy. From developing the website to figuring out payments, designing the storefront, and learning how to run a business, I've been working through the challenges of starting something from the ground up.
NSW Projects is currently a solo business, and I'm responsible for developing and growing it.
My long-term goal is to continue improving the platform, expanding its capabilities, and building NSW Projects into a trusted resource for homeowners and contractors.
I'm proud to be starting this journey while still in high school, and I'm excited to see where the business goes.
A Little More About Me
Outside of school and working on NSW Projects, I enjoy weightlifting, wrestling, and spending time with my family.
Weightlifting and wrestling have helped me develop discipline, consistency, and determination — qualities I try to bring into building my business.
And when I'm not working on the website or thinking about new ideas, spending time with family is one of the things I value most.
Our Mission
At NSW Projects, our mission is simple:
Help people plan smarter, estimate with greater confidence, and approach their next project better prepared.
We're just getting started, and we're committed to continuing to learn, improve, and grow.
Thank you for supporting NSW Projects and the journey of a young entrepreneur building something from the ground up.
